Wham-Bam-Slam! (1955) starring the Three Stooges (Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Shemp Howard)
Wham-Bam-Slam! can be charitably described as a remake of Pardon My Clutch. Very charitably. There’s precious little new footage added to the older short. In fact, shooting of the new material all took place in a single day.
New footage
- Breakfast with Moe & Larry. Larry does horrible things to pancakes. Moe gets a pancake suspended from the ceiling into the face. Shemp’s wife’s compact is mistaken for a pancake & eaten.
- Shemp soaks his feet in cold water — with a lobster in it.
- The ending is different, with the excitement curing Shemp. And Larry gets uncharacteristic revenge on Moe & Shemp.
That’s it. Frankly, the original short is much funnier.
