“In Playing the Ponies, the Three Stooges are tricked into trading their restaurant for Thunderbolt, a washed up racehorse. But when Curly accidentally feeds Thunderbolt some chili pepperinos by mistake, the horse runs like lighting towards the nearest water trough. Realizing the pepperinos can lead Thunderbolt to victory, the Stooges try to win their money back by entering Thunderbolt in a big race.”
A Plumbing We Will Go
Saturday evening a6 6:15 Pacific time on MeTV, enjoy the #threestooges in the hilarious “A Plumbing We Will Go” (1940), starring the Three Stooges – Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Curly Howard – with Bud Jamison, Dudley Dickerson, Symona Boniface
“A Plumbing We Will Go begins with the Three Stooges in court, on charges of stealing chickens. It’s a funny scene, with Moe acting as a ventriloquist. Curly and Larry sit on his lap as the dummy. The judge throws the case out due to lack of evidence, and Curly pulls his hat out of his pocket …. Letting fly a small storm of chicken feathers falling all over the arresting officer, played by Stooge regular Bud Jamison. The Three Stooges snap their fingers in the officer’s face on the way out of the courtroom, who has trouble with it. And ends up with a kick in the seat of the pants from the officer.”
Sing a Song of Six Pants

This leads to their equipment about to be repossessed by the Skin and Flint Finance Corporation. Over the radio, they hear the news that bank robber Terry “Slippery Fingered” Hargan is on the loose. And a big reward is offered!”

“The Three Stooges (Moe, Larry, and Curly) are three small time actors looking for a job. Gents Without Cents begins with them practicing their classic Slowly I Turned (aka. Niagara Falls) routine, when they’re interrupted by noisy dancers from upstairs, dropping the ceiling on Curly. The Stooges go upstairs to confront those ‘guys’ only to discover that they’re three girl dancers in the same situation”

“Musty Musketeers is a remake of the Three Stooges 1948 short film, Fiddlers Three, with a new beginning and ending. The middle segments, with the Stooges needing to shoe their mule, Sue, and rescuing the princess, are identical. The new material is funny enough to justify watching the short, unlike many of their remakes.”
