Heavenly Daze is a very funny, and somewhat different, Three Stooges short film.  It begins with a deceased Shemp at the gates of Heaven. He’s interviewed by his uncle Mortimer (played by Moe Howard).  Shemp’s name is not in the Lamb’s Book of Life … He is about to look for his “red pitchfork and asbestos suit” …. When Uncle Mortimer gives him a second chance … it turns out that Shemp’s cousins Moe and Larry are also in trouble, and if Shemp can return to Earth as an invisible ghost and turn them to the path of righteousness, he can return to Heaven for good.  After a run-in with a rain cloud, Shemp is on his way.

Synopsis of A Bird in the Head

Moe, Larry, and Curly are inept paperhangers who, running away from a dissatisfied customer, run into the arms of Professor Panzer, a mad scientist played by Three Stooges regular Vernon Dent.  The mad scientist wants to transplant a human brain into his gorilla, Igor.  And Curly’s tiny brain is just right!  However, the Stooges (and Igor) have other ideas!

In Cuckoo on a Choo Choo, Larry has stolen a train car and kidnapped the rich drunkard Shemp.  He needs to have Shemp marry Larry’s girlfriend’s older sister so that Larry can get married.  Moe, working as a detective for the railroad, tracks them down, only to find his former love, the older sister.  Shemp keeps drinking and hallucinating a giant canary.  No, really.

Synopsis of Income Tax Sappy

The Three Stooges (Moe, Larry and Shemp), egged on by Larry’s sister, decide to make money by cheating on their income taxes.  After the normal slapstick while preparing their taxes(with some very unusual “deductions”), they not only make a small fortune on their taxes, they decide to go into business by preparing other people’s tax returns as well.  Soon they’re rolling in dough, hosting a meal for one of their rich clients (allowing for more food-related slapstick) – but all isn’t as it appears!
